The Traditional Latin Mass at Assumption Church
Windsor, Ontario - Metropolitan Detroit
The Windsor Tridentine Mass
Community has developed a resource to help priests sing the Orations and
Readings of the Mass. While numerous books provide the tones for chanting
them, that is not of much help unless one is fairly expert in Gregorian
Chant. To our knowledge, there is no book available with the full sheet music for the Orations and Readings
of the Sundays and Major Feasts of the Liturgical Year. Recognizing a
need, our longtime member Mr. Michel Ozorak has created the below sets of Chant
Sheets to assist priests, deacons, and subdeacons with chanting the
Mass.
Two versions of the Collects and Postcommunions are
available, in the Tonus Festívus and Tonus Solémnis.
Three versions of the Gospels are available, in the Tonus Antíquior, Tonus
Ad Líbitum, and Tonus Evangélii.
We are honored that the Priestly Fraternity of St.
Peter has found our Chant Sheets of sufficient
usefulness to publish the Epistles and Tonus Antíquior Gospels on their own web
site: www.fsspolgs.org
This is a work in progress. Additional Chant Sheets
will be posted here weekly.
